Sugar River Distillery was founded with a simple conviction: that exceptional spirits begin with intention. Nestled in the heart of New Glarus — a town steeped in Swiss heritage and craft tradition — we draw on both local bounty and time-honored distillation methods.

Every batch is distilled on-site in our copper stills, aged in carefully selected barrels, and bottled with the same care our neighbors have valued for generations. The result is a spirit that tastes unmistakably of this place.
